Subject: March 19, 2002 FrontPage User Group Event

I wanted to remind everyone that the March FrontPage
User Group meeting will take place as scheduled on
March 19 at 6:30 PM.

Based on some of the feedback received, we are going
to take a new approach this time. Many of you
indicated a desire to share and learn more about the
experiences of one another. The March meeting is
going to be dedicated to group discussions on
various issues germane to the FrontPage user group
needs and experiences.

Please bring with you a one page summary of either a
problem you (or your company) are having, or an
expertise you have that you feel could be of value
to other users. We will take these sheets and go
over them with the group. The topics can cover web
authoring and related issues, including any business
related issues in using and deploying web sites.

Some of the issues we will also discuss on a group
level are:
Is there a ^business-pain^ that you have, or a
problem you are trying to solve?
Is it a web-based application you are trying to
deploy or do you see yourself doing regular web
sites more often?
Do you have any issue with the server-based
languages that are emerging, i.e. ASP. JSP,
ColdFusion, Perl?
Do you feel content or need to continue to lean
these new technologies to maintain your competitive
edge?
Do you feel web site design or authoring is starting
to be more challenging or technically demanding than
before?
Have you been working with FrontPage 2002? If so,
what issues do you have with it? Are there features
you may have wanted it to include?

We^d like to invite all of you to come and
participate in this event. Be ready to share your
thoughts.

Other user questions that you can bring some answers
to are:
a) ^I would like to see a discussion of the useless
formatting information added
to web pages generated by Microsoft Office when it
generates a web page.^
By Jack Pugh

Thanks,
And hope you can make it.
